Upon receipt of a request from a deceased Sir Knight's family a ceremony may be conducted by members of the Fourth Degree at the Sir Knight's wake.  That is the presentation of a chalice with the Sir Knight's name engraved upon it. (This has been changed to an Honorarium)

These ceremonies are in addition to the Guard of Honor that stands watch at the Sir Knight's casket during the wake.

Dress code

• Black Tuxedo and Tie

• White Tuxedo Shirt with Collar

• Service Baldric (which holds a sword)

• Sword

• Black Dress Shoes

• Jewel of Office if applicable

• Name Badge
